Clark-Reliance Corp.
Filtration Equipment Group
Dear TorcUP Inc.
Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Jim Karfes, I am the Filtration Equipment Group Production Planner at Clark-Reliance Corp., in Strongsville, Ohio.
Jeff Young's' introduction of the TX-4 to our division has helped immensely. It has enabled us to increase our efficiency thereby decreasing our labor costs. For instance, instead of it taking two to three men twelve to twenty-four hours to manually torque our piping, the TX-4 cuts' the assembly time by 50% to 85% (depending on the size of the skid being assembled.) Also, another great benefit is the TX-4 only requires one person for operation, apposed to the previous two to three. Hence, labor costs have declined while output has increased.
I would also like to add that Jeff Young is an outstanding Rep. If we run into any bolting problem he either provides at that moment or will get the answer in a timely manner.
Regards,
James Karfes

Garland Manufacturing Company
Industrial Plastics Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene
Dear TorcUP Inc.
Garland Manufacturing produces a specialty line of hand tools, including Garland’s Rawhide Hammers and Mallets. For over 50 years, our Split-Head and Solid Head Hammers have been manually assembled, using wrenches up to three feet long to tighten a nut around a thread iron casting. Securing the cast-iron head to the hickory handle has always been a laborious, time-consuming step in the assembly process.
After studying the time and cost of this assembly step, coupled with the potential for injury and downtime, we investigate several possible solutions. Your New England representative, Wally Barth offered recommendations, specifications and videos of the TorcUP offset pneumatic torque wrench. Based on several rounds of demonstrations and mockups of ca complete assembly workstation, we purchased the TorcUP TT-system in early 2006.
The results have been far better than we expected. Assembly time has been cut by up to 60%, which freed up significant manpower for the other work. Additionally, the potential for injury has been essentially eliminated. The custom tool that TorcUP supplied has removed a major production bottleneck while improving workplace safety at the same time. We appreciate the effort by Wally and would highly recommend TorcUP Inc. for similar, labor-intensive torque applications.
Best Regards,
Dan Garland

To whom it may concern:
I would like to take this opportunity to express our satisfaction with Cantorque. We started using Cantorque ACJV (Shell Sctosford) 2002. Colin Livingston came to site to deal directly with the Workers and supervisors in the field. This hands on service was a great benefit to ensure that the proper equipment was being brought in and the work was getting done.
Due to the fast that Scotsford was such a large project, Colin’s assistance in the demobilization aspect was a great help. I would highly recommend Cantoque’s service.

UNIVERSAL COMPRESSION, INC.
Dear TorcUP,
We purchased a complete hydraulic and pneumatic torque wrench set from TorcUP three years ago. We owned two other brands previously and endured constant breakdowns and high maintenance costs. A decision was made to find a reliable and cost efficient solution to our torquing requirement.
The TorcUP products have come to our rescue! The ruggedness and design of these products put the others to shame.
We can go on a job now feeling confident that our equipment will perform the way it is supposed to. This makes our customers satisfied also that they’ve hired a competent service contractor with reliable equipment.
The follow-up service and support has been great from TorcUP!
Sincerely,
Tom Crouch

AMECO - A FLUOR GLOBAL SERVICE COMPANY
To whom it may concern:
I would like to take this opportunity to express our satisfaction with CanTorque and Colin Livingston. We began dealing with CanTorque on the Athabasca Construction Joint Venture (ACJV) construction project at the Shell Scottford refinery in 2002. Colin made multiple trips to site over a 10 month period to deal directly with the workers and supervisors in the field, conduct periodic maintenance and conducted refresher courses of all workers. The TorcUP TX series tools that were used on site were simply the most user friendly hydraulic wrenches we’ve used. We had up to 8 systems running on site for the majority of the construction phase with little or no down time.
CanTorque’s hand-on service was great benefit to ensure that the tools were being used safely, efficiently and that our department stayed on schedule. Due to the fact that ACJV was such a large project, Colin’s on site assistance throughout the term of our rental and specifically in demobilizing was a great help. I would highly recommend CanTorque’s products and services.
